Stupid Thrush
I am really tired of thrush!!! Will's tongue has gone from one lession to an entire breakout. I'm feeling worse and I'm not sure what to do about it. I now have family planning Medicaid, which won't cover a checkup on the infection, so I'll have to p-o-p and we can't afford that. William's 'scripts do not seem to be working and the acidophilus isn't helping me any. Does this get worse before it gets better?

**Hugs** I have never personally had thrush but lots of my close friends have. It will get better, but it needs treated. Thrush is basically a yeast infection. One thing you can try - and you don't need a dr for this - is Genetian Violet. It will stain his mouth and tongue but lots of friends have used it and had sucesss with the genetian violet killing the yeast.
ReplyDeleteI tried that but he had some sort of reaction to it. Well, we don't know if it was a reaction to the gentian violet or to the milk spreading over his face. The doctor didn't say anything about that, just gave me nystatin for him.
